#123: BEAUTIFUL PORTFOLIOS & WOMEN OF MYANMAR

After traveling around East Asia for the last 5 months (again), I’m seriously thinking that Myanmar women are the most beautiful women in the Universe.

It’s not just their physical beauty, that makes any man with an appreciation for beauty to freeze.

It’s mainly the hard-to-describe, soft, heart-touching energy, that one can’t help but be overwhelmed with.

I think this photo alone is worth a thousand words.

Are you with me on this one? :-)

But of course, we are traders. Not Don Juans. So, we appreciate other forms of beauty perhaps even more.

Like beautifully designed and crafted portfolios.

And that’s the main thing I want to share with you today.

A portfolio I consider to be really beautiful.

This one is from trader Joss from California (I recently did an interview with him for Better Trader Academy, which will be released soon).

What I really love about his portfolio is the following:

It’s just a 4-strategies portfolio (Heating Oil, Crude Oil, emini S&P 400, and Soybeans), yet, it’s enough to produce a very nice, smooth equity curve,

The portfolio is all assembled from out-of-sample trades - no in-sample trade is included,

The Net Profit / DD ratio (to me, the first and main metric to watch) is a staggering 39.71,

So, considering all the above - if the portfolio fulfills only 50% of its potential in the future, it’ll still be a beautiful ‘money-making machine’.
