#161: I HAVE INFO FROM THE RUSSIAN BLACK MARKET

I want to share with you one of the most crazy things I’ve ever done to become a successful trader.

I SOLD MY SOUL TO THE RUSSIAN BLACK MARKET.

Well, kind of :-)

Keep reading, because it’s quite an interesting story.

Many years ago I was in the early phase of my transition from discretionary day trader to fully algorithmic trader.

And because algo trading was so new for me, of course, I constantly felt lost. I had no idea what was supposed to work and what wasn’t, who to believe and who to avoid, how to start in the “safest” way and not just lose my money on some nonsense.

I’m sure you’ve felt the same way at least once in your trading journey too, so I know I’m not alone.

Anyway, in one crazy moment of desperation, and to learn the TRUTH, this is what I did:

I decided to turn to the Russian Black Market.

Why?

Because at that time I knew from a company specializing in leasing algo trading strategies about a handful of strategies that were actually making money, and for a long time. I wanted to know why. What was the secret?

I wanted the CODE.

But of course, you can’t get code like this.

Unless you turn to the Russian Black market, where you can buy anything and everything, including a nuclear submarine.

And I have to say, I was successful. I DID get the code and I DID learn all the components of these long-term successful algo strategies.

And some of those insights have even guided me on my path to becoming a breakout trading specialist and hedge fund manager.

And now, after many years, I’m finally ready to share it all with others too.
